Cozy in the faux fur coat

When I come across the winter looks styled by the bloggers from my country or from the neighbouring territories, I cannot help but wonder how they manage to wear such light clothes in such a terrible, exremely cold weather. By all means, how can a sane person feel cozy in the stilettos on bare feet and a coat that I would wear only if it is +15? Even if they are moving around the city by car. They still need to get out of it and walk those 3-4 meters to the destination spot balancing on the dirty slippery ground and it is still chilly outside.A friend of mine says that these people live in some parallel reality. I tend to find lots of sense in this point of view now. Or maybe I am a true Southern girl who hates cold and looks like a cabbage on leaving her warm flat in the mornings :). Yet here what I've found suitable for myself. Less dark colors, more fine textures and volume. Here is my interpretation of cozy but smart winter look :)

Моя знакомая говорит, что эти люди живут в какой-то параллельной реальности. Не могу с ней не согласиться. Хотя, возможно, я просто слишком люблю тепло и ближе к зимней стуже становлюсь ворчливой из-за своего ежедневного вынужденного образа, вдохновленного капустой =). Вот один из образов, который я активно эксплуатирую этой зимой=).

Warm office dressing

I spend most of my time in the office. I guess the largest part of my readers does the same thing. It's really chilly now in our room, so I try to wear to work the most comfortable things to keep me warm. Yet, I want to stay stylish and feminine:) Luckily, I've found a very Chanel-like tweed dress with the check in Dior colors :) So  fashionable and chic! Now I can follow the office dress-code without being boring in my outfit.

И все же не хочется превращаться в капусту, и катиться по коридорам офиса в шерстяном палантине.=) К счастью, мне попалось прекрасное платье-футляр в стиле Chanel из теплого твида, с клеткой в цветах Dior/ Идеально! Frosty mornings

Late autumn is so predictable. First it tears off all the leaves and throws them on the ground with the help of the cold northern wind. Then it teases you with the brightness of the sunlight, but when you get outside the only thing you hear is the chatter of your teeth. In the morning all the ground is covered with the sparkling frost. Nevertheless, midday sun is still warm enough for short walks in cozy cardigan.
Today I choze the frosty colors of light grey and white accompanied by the accessories with the stones like little pieces of ice. :) Step by step we are moving closer to winter.

Поздняя осень столь предсказуема! Сначала она с помощью северного ветра срывает все листья с деревьев, укрывая ими всю землю. Потом манит ярким солнечным светом на улицу, где зуб на зуб не попадает от холода. А утром повсюду сверкает иней. Тем не менее, полуденное солнце еще достаточно теплое, чтобы позволить мне отправиться на короткую прогулку в одном кардигане. Сегодня я выбрала наряд с холодных тонах. Ансамбль водянисто-серого и белого дополняют аксессуары с камнями, чем-то схожими по цветам с льдинками. Шаг за шагом мы все ближе к зиме =).

Cozy November

It's funny how my love for oversized things grows stronger every time the days are gettings shorter and temperatures outside are moving closer to 0. A friend of mine often jockes that she wants to wear a blanket instead of a coat every time it gets cold outside. I guess the same thing happens to me. The best outerwear for this case is a duffle coat by Burberry that slighlty reminds of a plaid throw :). To finish the look I picked up a perfect autumn fluffy, just like my cat, sweater with a turtle neck and high boots. And if the wind gets stronger I can always put a hood on my head and keep on walking under the gloomy November sky.

Знаете что забавно? Моя любовь к объемной одежде становится куда сильней с приближением зимы. Моя подруга в промозглые дни часто шутит, что с радостью завернулась в одеяло и пришла в нем на работу, вместо привычного пальто. Кажется, подобное желание одолевает и меня. И е найти ничего лучше, чем дафлкот от Burberry, который своим рисунком вполне смахивает на уютный плед. =) В довершение я выбрала идеальный для осени мохнатый, как мой кот, свитер с высоким горлом. Так мне не страшны ледяные порывы ветра. А на ноги я натянула высокие сапоги. В такой одежде легко разгуливать под хмурым ноябрьским небом=).

Glimpse of 60s

I used to wear high heels all the time. It didn't really matter whether I had to run, jump, dance, stand all day, I could do it all in my stilettos. But as the years went by, I slowly shifted from high to middle heels and all of a sudden I have a collection of all types of flat shoes. Nevertheless, sometimes I want to remind myself about those crazy times when wearing heels was a norm for me. On such a day I take out a pair of lovely pumps and walk proudly in the streets of Kiev. The only difference nowadays is that the heels are mainly kitten :) Here is one of the looks on the day when I felt like I want to be a lady for a change :)

С годами, я медленно, но верно перешла от высокого к среднему каблуку, а после и не заметила, как стала обладательницей коллекции всевозможной обуви на плоском ходу. Тем не менее, порой мне хочется вспомнить былые времена, и тогда я достаю из обувной коробки туфельки, правда не на убийственной шпильке, а на крошечном каблучке. :) Вот образ в один из тех дней, когда мне вздумалось строить из себя леди :).

Sun-kissed day

My favourite color is white. Nevertheless, beige and neutrals are at the top position in my list of beloved shades. :) Lately the weather has been so lovely that I managed to couple my camel coat with caramel pumps, greige bag and pearl gold jumper. I've been avoiding this match previously as my hair was almost the same color and I would have looked a little drained. Being a brunette now I finally can start experimenting with this palette. :)

Га днях погода радовала мягким теплом, так что мне удалось сочетать пальто вербпюжего оттенка с кармельными лодочками, бежево-серой сумкой и жемчужно-золотистым свитером. Раньше я избегала подобных сочетаний, так как цыет молих волос практически сливался с этими оттенками. Попав в ряды брюнеток, я могу больше экспериментировать с этой палитрой. :)

Ode to October

So it is finally here. My favourite month of the year has officially started. I love October most of all because it brings my birthday and changes. Always. It's an unbreakable rule that gives me shivers every year in the end of September. I literally count the days till the calendar changes the numbers from 9 to 10. This time I enter this wonderful month with the updated hair color and new attitude. The shift from light blonde to dark chocolate forced me to buy new makeup shades and the old clothes look absolutely differently on me :) The funny part is that most of the people in the office don't recognize me. I'm ready for the good times that are coming :)

Наконец-то наступил мой самый любимый месяц в году. Больше всего я люблю октябрь, потому что он приносит с собой мой день рождения и перемены. Всегда. Это неизменное правило, из-за которого у меня мурашки по коже от волнения каждый год в конце сентября. Я в прямом смысле слова считаю дни до того момента, как цифра на календаре переменится из девятки в десятку. В этот раз я встречаю свой волшебный месяц с новым цветом волос и новым отношением к окружающим меня вещам. Резкий переход из рядов блондинок в строй обладатениц шоколадных прядей волос заставил меня обновить запасы косметики, а прежняя одежда смотрится совсем иначе на на обновленной мне.:) Пока я веселюсь от того,что многие в офисе просто не узнают меня при встрече. Что же, я готова к грядущим переменам. Знаю, что они уже на подступах. :)

Indian Summer

The sunny days are going to end very soon and bring crispy frost on the brown leaves on the ground. This is all about autumn. You never know when it is going to change its weather from the warm and sunny to rainy and windy. And vice versa. But I love this, so you won't hear me complain about the fall. Not me :) I have my secret obsession in fashion. I am keen on boho-chic things. Even though I work in the office and simply can't wear such outfits every day, I keep on stocking different fringe bags, varicolored cardigans and lace maxi dresses. And hats, of course. My strongest addiction :) As long it's my time of year, I can dress the way I like. At least for today :)

Совсем скоро солнечные дни станут лишь воспоминанием, оставив после себя лишь седую пелену колкого инея на земле, укрытой опавшими листьями. Такова осень. С ней никогда не знаешь наверняка как долго продлятся теплые деньки, и когда зачастят дожди. Верно и обратное. Но мне это нравится. Так что от меня жалоб на осень не ждите.:) Есть у меня одна тайная слабость в мире моды. Это стиль бохо. И пусть из-за офисной работы я не могу каждый день наряжаться в этом стиле, я продолжаю складировать в шкафу сумки с бахромой, пёстрые кардиганы и кружевные платья в пол. И шляпы, разумеется. Это моя главная зависимость. :)А раз уж это мое время года, то можно позволить нарядиться так, как хочется :)
