Alice in Wonderland

The warm days are still here. This year September is nothing but a magic month full of sunlight, yellow leaves and dreams. The city turned into the real Wonderland for me, where I encounter fairytale places and people :) Sometimes we create the look just to shift the attention of others from what happens inside of us and make them focus on our outwear. But today my clothes reflect how I feel: airy and light, like a little girl who still believes in magic and miracles :)

This weekend I had a lovely and inspiring photo shoot with extremely talented and creative photographer Galina Bromaretskaya in the botanical garden. Surrounded by blooming trees and soft sunlight I couldn't help but feel like a modern elf :)

Vanilla Sky

It was one of those sugar sweet days, when everything brings you joy. The sunlight was soft and the spring was mirroring in every puddle on the road. It's so nice that we managed to capture that magical moment and can keep it not only in our memory and hearts, but also in the digital form. Now, even when it gets hotter and the days will spoil us with the extra heat, we can look at these photos and feel the soft touch of the first warm rays of sun and the hope that was rising inside our young and willing hearts.

Enjoy the City

Sometimes it feels like the long grey dull winter weather will never end. And nothing goes right. You are exhausted and desperate. Find yourself daydreaming all the time, craving the long breathtaking trip somewhere wonderful. Somewhere far away from here. But you have to stay. Because of the job, of the plans, of so many things. The best way out of this gloomy circle is to look around. It might seem ridiculous at first. But it really works. You'll be surprised with how many little miracles are hidden around. That will light up the days and make the rare sun shine even more brightly and cheerfully. Take walks around the city, explore new routes, try new dishes in cafes. Treat yourself as if you were a child with a cold. Become the collector of  pleasant and nice moments. Enjoy the city. :)

Walking on Sunshine

Today we had a very creative day. Magically, the weather was so delightful and the sun was sending its shining love to all the people in the streets. Asya took me out for a photoshoot in the streets of Kiev. Styling and modelling for this session was quite a challenge as despite of the sunny weather, there was a lot of snow on the ground and the wind was far from summer breeze. But in the sunshine everything was forgotten. :) There is nothing like the energy that brings you the feeling of the approaching spring and scencere laughter from your lovely and talented photographer. :) So here are the first pics:

Shades of summer

Even almost three weeks after the Spanish trip I still have lots of photos to work on. What amuses me is such a short list of things I would wear those days: simply a swimming suit, beachwear tunic and a hat. That's it. Barefoot and happy as a little child :) I think it's the magic of summer: more is less. The chic is in the minimalism and clean lines.

I'll Go Wherever You Will Go

Now a couple of new photos are ready. The photoshoot had three different stories to tell. One of them would show a girl carrying her luggage just before the departure. In the process of shooting the concept moved from general to more specific one. As a result we have a girl who is  desperately looking for her beloved man, who is somewhere far away. The atmosphere of the scenery is contributing to the mood we tried to create: the pastel colors, falling snow and tiny trembling silhouette of a lonely girl.

Snowfall Story

On a snowy day we went out to make a photoshoot in the dancing snowflakes.The winter has finally come and gave us such a dose of the falls that now the best way to move around the town is by sledges. Neither the freezing wind nor the snowbanks changed our plans. I was styling the whole process, selecting the light purple silk dress and fall coat for the looks, so the only person I had to blame for my chattering teeth and red nose was me. :)
