Feels like home

Since my early childhood all I wanted was a cat. But I never had one. My big love for these purring creatures grew even stronger with years and became a real obsession. Imagine my excitement when my colleague asked to look after his fluffy pet while he was out of town. More than three weeks I spent with a cat of the British fold, called Funnya. She taught me so many things and turned my rented apartment into a real home. I'll miss her and hope one day to have such a nice friend of my own. Some goodbye pics attached :)

Time for Denim

This spring is a little bit colder than usually. Nevertheless, we crave the sun and warm days. So do all the plants around us. Finally, the cherry and apricot trees started blooming in blossom. And it's really one of the most romantic times of the year. For me, it's a nice opportunity to wear denim.

I chose jeans and pumps by Mango and a lovely Milu T-shirt by Jason Wu for Target. The red poppy flower earings are handmade. They were bought at some small workshop in Lvov.

While we were making the shots of this look two little girls and a boy were watching us from the distance. Then all of a sudden one girl came to me and gave the blossoming apricot branch. I know, it's not a good thing to break branches, but as long as it's a gift from a little girl, I took it and thanked her. :)

Lace Your Life

My granny is very good at needlepointing. I used to watch her work at some airy collar or cuff when I was a little girl. Later on, when I grew older, I got that special attitude towards the things decorated with handmade lace. Even simple fabrics that imitate the hand-crafted ones amaze me. In the recent fashion seasons lacy clothes were extremely popular. We could spot lace almost everywhere:

From left to right: metallic lace skirt by Vionnet, lace-print pencil skirt by BCBG Max Azria, tiered lace skirt and mini skirt both by Valentino
