Vanilla Sky

It was one of those sugar sweet days, when everything brings you joy. The sunlight was soft and the spring was mirroring in every puddle on the road. It's so nice that we managed to capture that magical moment and can keep it not only in our memory and hearts, but also in the digital form. Now, even when it gets hotter and the days will spoil us with the extra heat, we can look at these photos and feel the soft touch of the first warm rays of sun and the hope that was rising inside our young and willing hearts.

Enjoy the City

Sometimes it feels like the long grey dull winter weather will never end. And nothing goes right. You are exhausted and desperate. Find yourself daydreaming all the time, craving the long breathtaking trip somewhere wonderful. Somewhere far away from here. But you have to stay. Because of the job, of the plans, of so many things. The best way out of this gloomy circle is to look around. It might seem ridiculous at first. But it really works. You'll be surprised with how many little miracles are hidden around. That will light up the days and make the rare sun shine even more brightly and cheerfully. Take walks around the city, explore new routes, try new dishes in cafes. Treat yourself as if you were a child with a cold. Become the collector of  pleasant and nice moments. Enjoy the city. :)

Styletto

Ok. Today is a big day for me, as I'm officially uploading my pilot episode of the video blog Styletto.

 I've been working on it for quite a long time. It's the new form of blogging for me and I am still experimenting with topics and way of presenting information.

Walking on Sunshine

Today we had a very creative day. Magically, the weather was so delightful and the sun was sending its shining love to all the people in the streets. Asya took me out for a photoshoot in the streets of Kiev. Styling and modelling for this session was quite a challenge as despite of the sunny weather, there was a lot of snow on the ground and the wind was far from summer breeze. But in the sunshine everything was forgotten. :) There is nothing like the energy that brings you the feeling of the approaching spring and scencere laughter from your lovely and talented photographer. :) So here are the first pics:

Feels like home

Since my early childhood all I wanted was a cat. But I never had one. My big love for these purring creatures grew even stronger with years and became a real obsession. Imagine my excitement when my colleague asked to look after his fluffy pet while he was out of town. More than three weeks I spent with a cat of the British fold, called Funnya. She taught me so many things and turned my rented apartment into a real home. I'll miss her and hope one day to have such a nice friend of my own. Some goodbye pics attached :)

Emerald night

I purchased a new Zara emerald dress on purpose. My relationships with this color have never been smooth and happy. And since it was the fresh start of a new year I tried to do someting very untypical for me. So there it was, complimented with deep red patent stilettos and gold accessories, fitting me perfectly and making me feel more confident about the new page of life.  All of a sudden my colleague gave me a flower crown. It was so strange to see real flowers on the headband in our IT office.:) But I couldn't resist the temptation of trying it on. And it was just perfect.

Late November

I love autumn. It's my favourite season. But at the end of November I turn into a sleepy creature, always yawning and looking for the opportunity to take a nap =). I rarely walk out of the office in the lunch time but if I do it's more like running than strolling =). That's why my favs of this season are knitted things ( They are very easy to run in and yet very comfortable to wear=). For this look I chose knitted over the knee socks, light gray cardigan, parka and boots by Mango and white shirt dress. All crowned by black hat by Asos. Cozy, warm and chic. =)

Girl on fire

I love electric blue. This is the colour that opposes the dullest weather and the worst mood. So when I'm in low spirits I put on something of this colour and a smile on my face, and the day is brightened by their light. These dodgy tricks together with music help me to survive the lack of sunshine these days. :)

For this look I've picked up my favourite coat with asymmetric collar by Sinequanone, and my two new obsessions: Mango wedge knee boots and polka dot tunic by Warehouse.

Stoned

Last sunny days and colors of nature give me inspiration for wearing more bright things. Although, I have to look decent in the office dress-code, I can mix some classic and formal clothing with colorful accessories. This time I added a massive necklace with purple and green stones to a basic white shirt (by Gap), pencil denim skirt and red pumps with parka (both by Mango).

Sweet nothing

I can call accessories my big obsession. Most of the money I earn is invested in necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings, gloves, scarves and, now, hats. In my humble opinion, this is what makes the look and gives it the specific mood. It's like the icing with cherry on the cake. This time I've mixed French, Spanish and British brands and created a very relaxed and comfortable unity: Sinequanone cape, Topshop oxford shoes, Mango jeans, Asos hat, PullandBear denim shirt, massive necklace and my mom's silver vintage ring:
